This dock is very old and not as sturdy as it was in it's younger years. Some of the wood is chipping off, and nobody comes out to sail anymore. It is a sad sight, but a comfortable place for the cat that likes to gaze out at the sea.

Pakajino padded to the dock. He looked around. His first order was to find a den. This might be a good spot. If he got hungry he could probably steal some fish from somewhere around here. I mean, its a dock, theres gotta be some fish stores around. Pakajino paid no attention to the chipping and creeking dock. Other than the possibility of fish, there wasnt much else good here. He decided to continue exploring. Maybe he'd meet some other cats. He's heard a lot of mews.

Pakajino returned to the place he first came. He looked around. All he did was pad over to the edge of the creaky dock and laid his paws over the edge. He had no problems with water. He got used to it in the rain, back in his old city and life. A fish jumped out, and he slapped his paw out, catching the small meal with his claws. He ate it immediately.

As Captain walked along the dock he noticed Pakajino enjoying a fish. "Ahoy," he greeted the spotted tom. "Whatchu doin' out here all by yer lonesome, eh?"

Pakajino looked up to see Cap. He could tell it was Cap from the voice, though. "Well, this is the first place i visited, and decided to come back. I got bored in my den, so i came out here. Its always changing, and i love it out here." As he said that, something far off in the distance jumped. Pakajino looked at it with amazement. Sometimes he wished he was sea animal.

Cap nodded understandingly. Even after all those years he still liked to pretend that some day his crew would return for him. He glanced at Pakajino out of the corner of his eye, gave a mischivious smile, and launched himself into the water below. For a moment all sound was obliterated as he sank like a stone. Cold, salty sea washed around him and with strong, sure strokes he climbed his way to the surface. Using an ancient rusty ladder he heaved himself back onto the dock, laughing madly.

Pakajino looked at Cap. Was this old cat challenging me? he thought. He couldnt bare to loose a challenge. Pakajino stood, and launched himself into the water. He took on a streamlined form, and cut through the water. It was then that he realized he didnt know how to swim. He began paddling the best he could, and it took quite a while, but he made it to the latter. He walked next to Cap and shook off. He decided he liked this old cat.

Scorch padded into the abandoned dock and into one of the crannies beneath the road. The kit wasn't ready to sleep; she just lay there staring hopefully at the dock beyond the dark space that was called her den, waiting for something to occupy her.

Pakajino notice another cat appear. He wanted to meet others, after all thats why he came out. If he didnt want to meet other cats, he wouldda just locked himself in the room he claimed. He padded over to the new kit. Coming closer, he realized he met this kit before. What was her name? I dont remember... "Hi!" He said, satisfied. That was a good start.

Scorch's eyes lit up as the cat from earlier greeted her. "Hello, Polkajino!" The kit responded, unsure if she got the "Polka" part of his name right.

"Aw! I could've gotten it right though!" Scorch squeaked. When Pakajino remembered her name she kneaded the ground and mewed "You remembered!" Then, catching a glimpse of Captain who seemed to be headed towards the city, the kit nodded back vigorously before turning back to Pakajino.

Pakajino had to (insert felineish laugh substitue word here) at this statement. "So, why did you come all the way out here to the dock?" Pakajino said, still slightly damp from his swim.

Scorch replied with a squeaky yawn "Well, this is my den. I live here." She then looked at Pakajino's fur and asked curiously "Why are you so wet?"
