Pakajino was slightly surprised to hear this was his den. He at first thought of making an place near here his own den. There werent many sheltered areas. "Where is your den?" He asked, looking around for somewhere where a den could be. "Because, i went for a little swim," he replied with a grin.

Scorch responded with a mew "Really? I haven't been swimming before." She then looked around the dark space with large eyes, as usual, and continued "Oh, I don't really have a nest, I just, ummm, I don't know..." The tiny kit spaced out, thinking more of how to describe it, and then minutes later gave up.

Pakajino looked at the kit who wasnt much younger than he. "Is your place to stay at least give you warmth? And does it protect you from wind or rain? If it does, then youre good." Pakajino said, although he was sure she knew this. It was just something to close the silence that had formed.

"It's great in here! It's everything you said!" Scorch mewed happily. "So...where's your den?" She then asked with a tilt of her head, desperate to keep the discussion going.

"My den? Its over at the burned down tower thingy. I have a whole room to myself... Although the roof doesnt seem the stable.." Pakajino said, honestly. He figured his den would hold. If he didnt, well, lets just hope it does.

"Oh. I'm not allowed to go there," Scorch mewed half-jealously. The kit would always be caught by older cats whenever she tried to visit the destroyed building, and would always be directed back to her den. "Can you take me there sometime?" She then mewed, hoping he wouldn't think she's too young like the others do.

"Wait," began Pakajino, "The older cats force you away from there? I'm not much older than you, and Cap lead me to it. I dont see any problem with you going. I just dont recommend heading to the roof. The floors get progressively worse as you go up. Theres giant holes and falling things. Its no place for a cat..." Pakajino said, trailing off. His den was on the third to the top floor. It probably wasnt the best place... but no other cat wanted it, making it the perfect den spot. It was very comfortable. He glanced at the fleeing Sun. Maybe he would visit the roof. It did have a very nice view. But it was too dangerous.

"Oh." Scorch mewed. "Then what do they have against me that they don't have against you?" She added, tilting her head slightly. When Pakajino started talking about the danger of the higher floors she responded "I'll go to the first floor tomorrow then, but the other floors can't be that dangerous!" The she-kit thought all the slightly-older tom meant by "dangerous" was a squeaky board or two, but she wouldn't risk getting in trouble by going any higher.

"The first floor is fine. Its just dark, and a little crisp. There shouldnt be any trouble. Just dont get lost." Pakajino hoped that the first floor wasnt as bad as his floor. He hoped no one would yell at him for encouraging the slightly-younger kit to go to the tower. it should be fine, though He thought.

ooc; sorry for being inactive, mid terms are coming up yknow? Scorch looked up at Pakajino and responded with a mew "Okay." She then continued to stare curiously at the older kit, hoping that some other subject will be brought up because obviously this one was obviously dead.

"So." Pakajino began, unsure where he was going with it, "Have you seen most of this city yet? Ive really only been here, the towered dens, and my den." He was curious about the city. HE hadnt really had time to explore at all.

Scorch jumped when Pakajino started to speak again, obviously happy that there was something else to talk about. "Yeah! I've been everywhere, except for the many floors of that tower and the Heart of the City," she responded, a purr slightly edging her mew.
ooc; sorry i don't talk in the cbox much anymore, it's just that i have a lot of studying to do ;~; i feel so lonely xD

"Well thats good! Maybe you could tell me some places to go? Im kinda curious..." He said, his voice (?) trailing off as he looked past Scorch towards the city.

"Yeah! I could show you the train station sometime!" Scorch purred. As Pakajino trailed off she turned her tiny head in the direction he was looking, her eyes widened because she thought he must've seen something interesting. But all it was was the normal city she'd known for as long as she could remember. "Yeah, that's the city. It's really big, but I know most of it," She mewed, trying to sound casual.

Eager to see more of the city, Pakajino said, "Well, how about now? I havent seen it, and id get lost on my own... Maybe i could take you to the abandoned tower afterwards?" He was hoping it wasnt too late at night. The sun was setting.
ooc; im not sure what time of day we had it at... so now its early sunset.
