"OK!" Scorch squeaked and darted ahead of Katida towards the park, thinking she was at her full speed. Wow! I'm fast! The kit thought excitedly.

Cattus walked through the station, watching the tall hairless things get on and off the subway. Her eyes were dull with boredom as she nonchalauntly boarded the subway by passing under the legs of one of the humans too busy looking at this roundish, silver thing and rapidl pressing buttons to notice her. She sighed and walked to the back of the subway an leaned against the wall, her grey eyes staring at the ugly, furless things.
Suddenly, the cart lurched forward and they were flying through a dark tunnel. Cattus hopped up on the seat with one of the sleeping No-furs and climbed up to get a better look out one of the windows. There wasn't much to see, just a dark cement wall. It was especially boring for her, having lived in the forest before where everything was colorful and bright; well, most of the time. She chuckled when she realized how stupid she was being right now, gettin into a strange, moving room with a bunch of ugly beasts and having no idea where the moving room was going. For all she knew, she could end up in a frozen waste land with a bunch of murderous No-furs.
When the subway car finally stopped, Cattus was wide-eyed and amused by the idiotic things the No-furs did on the way. One was staring at a bunch of scribbles on a sheet of white with a red, thick cover, ocasionally flipping to another page of scribbles. Another spent the whole trip rapidly pressing buttons on a roundish, silver thing. A few talked and talked and talked through the whole trip, which proved to be very annoying, and a few others slept. Cattus leapt off the red seat and padded through the open door into another underground subway station and wondered if she hadn't ended up in the same place she had started. She knew she was wrong, though, when she didn't scent other cats had been here before. Climbing up the steps, Cattus found her self in the edge of the city, near the Abandoned Tower. She smiled as she padded through the quiet streets in the direction of her warm nest in the Abandoned Tower.
